March 2017-June 2018: Long Term Substitute ESL Teacher for the Allegheny Intermediate Unit

• Trained for and administered ACCESS exams for students in grades kindergarten through fifth

• Wrote and implemented engaging and developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligning with state core standards in English and in English Language Development and using the National Geographic’s Reach curriculum

• Communicated with parents regularly using TalkingPoints software

• Collaborated with classroom teachers and principal to ensure positive student growth and to aid in accurate student assessments, quarterly grading, and year-end report writing
