Dr. Timothy D. Long, Ed.D., has served as a teacher, principal, and Superintendent, in Indiana schools since 1982. Dr. Long has been working in China and Taiwan since 2008. He was honored by the Indiana Department of Education in 2010 for his work in overseas initiatives. In 2008, he was selected as a participant in the China Exchange Initiative. In 2009, he was selected as a member of the China-USA Bridge Program in Shanghai.
As a school administrator, Dr. Long has hosted hundreds of Chinese teachers and students in American schools. He is a co-founder of the Educational Global Forum. He has worked extensively in Anshan China, and Miaoli County, Taiwan. He has also hosted teams of principals and teachers working to learn more about American Education and Project Based Learning.
Dr. Long is also an adjunct professor in the Department of Educational Leadership at Ball State University. His primary focus is the training of new principals entering Indiana school systems. His focus with the University has been Principal Internships and School Finance.
